Operations with precious metals

ACB "Lanta-Bank" (CJCS) has the license of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on carrying out operations with precious metals allowed by the Russian legislation.

The Bank offers physical persons the following services on the precious metals market:

• Precious metal small bars purchase-sale.

The Bank offers its Clients the small bars produced and marked by Russian refineries in correspondence with the acting state standards and weighting 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000 g together with certificates and the factory-producer passports.

The Bank carries out operations with gold bars on the basis of daily changing ratings. Transactions are formed daily from 9-30 till 16 o'clock in ACB "Lanta-Bank" (CJCS) head office.

• Impersonal metal accounts opening and operating.

An impersonal metal account serves for the Client precious metals crediting onto the account, their saving and writing off without showing the bars individual characteristics (the bar number, weight, mark, year of manufacture) and carrying out of purchase-sale operations by way of written orders. The precious metals accounted on impersonal accounts have the quantitative characteristic of the metal mass and value.

Precious metals purchase-sale with crediting an impersonal metal account (without their withdrawal from the repository) allows the Client avoiding VAT payment, therefore the conditions of precious metals trading are analogue to other financial operation conditions.

The Bank accepts the precious metals in the form of small bars produced in Russia and corresponding to the state standards and technical conditions acting in the Russian Federation onto impersonal metal accounts.

The rate for the transactions with precious metals depends on the current world prices and transaction volumes. At receiving precious metals from a metal account in form of bars the bank imposes VAT and the commission for the transaction carrying out.

• Memorable and investment coins made of precious metals purchase-sale.

ACB "Lanta-Bank" (CJCS) offers memorable and investment coins made of precious metals as independent instrument of free money investing.

Memorable coins has a unique design, artistic and numismatic value, are produced with the highest quality of engraving "proof" which makes them a excellent present dedicated to memorable events in the history of Russia, culture and architecture memorials, sport events and the planet nature.

Investment coins are not to be mixed up with memorable or numismatic (collection) coins which price is determined in correspondence with their rareness, engraving quality and historical value and not according to the pure metal share. Therefore the price of coins having a collection value does not change in correspondence with the world gold prices fluctuations and are sold for a higher ("numismatic") price in comparison with investment coins.

The Bank offers the new (starting from 2006) investment gold coin "Georgy Victor". The coin physical characteristics: 999 carat; pure gold share - 7,78 g, coin weight - 7,89 g. According to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation the operations with investment coins are free of VAT (Tax Code part two chapter 21 clause 149 item 2 sub-item 11). Therefore they create conditions for gold and silver coins trading usage as an independent instrument for physical person and legal entities free money investing.
